The week schedule has an influence on how many hours you work per day, and as such, also on the hours of one holiday. More information on holiday planning can be found in this article.
How
In order to define the start and end hour of your working days or those of your colleagues, follow these steps depending on your plan.
BOOST or FLOW accounts
(Advanced User Management)
- Navigate to Settings > Users.
- Click on the name of the corresponding Teamleader Focus user.
- Click on "Edit schedule" next to the current week schedule.
- If you continue, you'll be able to define the start and end hour as well as a lunch break.
- This screen also allows you to define the week schedule of part-time employees. In the example below, the employee works from Monday to Thursday.
Note: We advise you only use this option if that co-worker has a fixed day off. If this person works part-time with flexible hours, we advise you to still set normal working hours for all business days. You can then create a special type of leave, e.g. "Part-time", for this employee.
Accounts with the Planning Booster
If you're on a smaller package such as SMART or GROW but bought the Planning Booster, there's a different way to set up or edit your or your colleague's week schedule.
- Navigate to Settings > Users.
- Next to the name of the user, click on the three dots.
- Choose Edit week schedule.
- Make your changes and click on Save.
Week schedule and time tracking
We display your tracked time in comparison to your working hours, both on this timesheets overview as when adding multiple time trackings:
Calendar
In the calendar's week view you'll see a bar below each day of the week. This shows your total availability for that day, based on the amount of hours per week you have set.
