Teamleader Focus makes it very easy for you to export an Insights report to either Excel, CSV or PDF. Read all about it in this article.
What
Lots of businesses rely on reports for decision-making. To help with this, users can export the reports in Insights in order to save a record of their reports, print reports, and do complex calculations more easily.
Depending on your needs, you can either export the report to:
- Excel
- CSV

PDF
Who
To be able to export reports, users must have certain sliders enabled in their user settings:
- Access to Insights via Settings > Users

Access to ‘Export’ rights via Settings > Users
How
To export a report in Insights, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Insights
- Choose a report from the report library

! What you see is what you get:
- Know that the groups and filters you apply to a report, as well as the columns that are present in your table, will influence the data that will be shown in your export.

Click on Export to Excel or if you want to export to CSV or PDF, click on the arrow next to the button and select the right option:
- You can also choose Copy link if, instead of exporting, you just want to share the URL of this report with another colleague.

Your choice will be remembered and preselected as the default when exporting another report later.

Your export will be generated and you’ll receive a notification in the bottom of your screen to tell you when the export is ready:

Click on Download to download your export.
Note regarding the PDF export: If you’ve added a lot of columns to your table, it might be possible that the columns of your table cannot fit on the PDF page. In this case, we add the remaining columns on a new page.
