There are some interesting possibilities when it comes to tracking time via our Teamleader Focus app. You can add a time tracking manually or via the start/stop timer, or track time on an existing task. Read this article to learn more about these possibilities.
Add a time tracking manually
- Log in to the app
- Click on Timer > + > Time tracking or click on the + on the home screen > Time tracking
- Choose to log time (duration) or to log specific hours
- Fill out a customer
Note: After you've linked a customer, a toggle 'Billable' will appear in which you can choose if the time tracking should be billable or not. - Optionally, link it to an existing task
- Choose a work type
- Fill out a description
- Click on Save
Add a time tracking via the start/stop timer
- Log in to the app
- Click on Timer
- Click on the +
- Click on Start timer to start tracking time
- You can do other things in the meantime, the timer will keep going
- Click on the Stop button to end the time tracking: the tracking will be added to your list
- Clicking on your time tracking afterwards allows you to link it to a customer or a project, and choose a work type
Add a time tracking on an existing task
- Log in to the app
- Navigate to an existing task
- Click on the + in the top right-hand corner
- Click on Time tracking
- Fill out the details of the time tracking
- Click on Save
