There are some interesting possibilities when it comes to tracking time via our Teamleader Focus app. You can add a time tracking manually or via the start/stop timer, or track time on an existing task. Read this article to learn more about these possibilities.


Add a time tracking manually

  1. Log in to the app
  2. Click on Timer > + > Time tracking or click on the on the home screen > Time tracking
  3. Choose to log time (duration) or to log specific hours
  4. Fill out a customer
    NoteAfter you've linked a customer, a toggle 'Billable' will appear in which you can choose if the time tracking should be billable or not.
  5. Optionally, link it to an existing task
  6. Choose a work type
  7. Fill out a description
  8. Click on Save

Add a time tracking via the start/stop timer 

  1. Log in to the app
  2. Click on Timer
  3. Click on the +
  4. Click on Start timer to start tracking time
  5. You can do other things in the meantime, the timer will keep going
  6. Click on the Stop button to end the time tracking: the tracking will be added to your list
  7. Clicking on your time tracking afterwards allows you to link it to a customer or a project, and choose a work type

Add a time tracking on an existing task 

  1. Log in to the app
  2. Navigate to an existing task
  3. Click on the in the top right-hand corner
  4. Click on Time tracking
  5. Fill out the details of the time tracking
  6. Click on Save
