When using Teamleader Focus, you enter personal data (e.g. name, telephone number, email address, etc.) of your company's or organization's customers, leads, business partners, etc. (“contacts”) into your account. You’ve collected their personal data for your own purposes, e.g. to provide your services. That makes you the data controller.

We facilitate the management of your contacts’ data through our tool. By entering their personal data into your Teamleader Focus account, you are sharing this data with us. Our job is to keep this data available and safe on your behalf. We are the data processor here.

As a data controller, you have an obligation under the GDPR to enter into a DPA with all your data processors. To help you meet that legal obligation, we have made sure that there is a DPA in place.

In the DPA, we clearly define our respective GDPR responsibilities (so of you as controller and us as processor).

The DPA includes, among other things:

  • a general overview of the personal data which we expect to process on your behalf;
  • a list of the different technical and organisational measures we take to safeguard the security of your data and the reliability of our software;
  • a clear and well-defined procedure in case of a data breach; and
  • agreements regarding the deletion of your data when your contract ends.
